APIIT is a reputable higher education institution established in partnership with Staffordshire University in the UK and Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation in Malaysia.

The learning management system of APIIT was hosted on an on-premise server, which happened to be a burden to the IT Team due to the server stack becoming old. The management has sought a solution provider to consult on this problem.

Ceyentra was selected as the consultant for the solution. Finally, the outcome was the migration of the learning management system to the cloud environment within a short window, ensuring a low impact on the learning activities. Upon completing the solution, Ceyentra had an opportunity to consult on replacing the student management system, which was developed using a 20-year-old technology stack.

By exploring the existing platforms available, the team identified the exact requirement covering the end-to-end business process of APIIT that cannot be fulfilled from existing solutions. So that the final decision was to develop a custom solution for APIIT.

This development aims to identify all the existing system's drawbacks and limitations and make reliable solutions to each process in the business to increase efficiency by using the latest technologies. The new system covers the operations of a student from the start of the course until graduation.

Managing prospects using follow-ups and capturing details at every interaction until the lead is nurtured. The online self-registration process helps the candidate to inquire about the courses at the same place while applying for eligible discounts and concessions.

Seamless Management of Multiple Intakes

Executing 3 to 4 intakes a year is not a straightforward process for a university, where a lot of planning needs to be done. A fully automated planning module is implemented for the intake, academic, class schedule, and lecture allocation plan.

Comprehensive Analytics

Analytics of the student exam results, attendance, resits, and non-curriculum activity participations are presented on the platform. The financial performance of the university in terms of collections and pending payments are also covered.
